The Best Websites for FREE Stock Photos
We all use photos on a regular basis. We use them for social media, blog posts, powerpoint presentations, pricing guides, websites and many more things. If you're a business owner, you've likely ran into the challenge of finding high-quality photographs at an affordable price.
I know I certainly have.
To prevent you from scouring the web for hours in search of the perfect photograph, I've put together a list of stock photo sites I use on a regular basis. And get this—they're all completely FREE!
Fancy Crave
I often find bright, airy images on Fancy Crave. You can sign up for emails and get 14 free photos each week straight to your inbox.
Death To Stock Photos
Sign up to get free bundles emailed to you monthly. The bundles are typically 10 photos of a similar subject. If you find one image in the bundle to be useful, you’ll often find all 10 of them to be useful.
Pixel Surplus
I love this site because they also offer tons of other resources like fonts, mockups, photoshop actions, etc. Pixel Surplus also offers weekly email freebies.
Unsplash
For a long time Unsplash was my go-to spot for beautiful photography. If you’re looking for breathtaking landscape shots, this is your ticket. The only downside to their site is there is not a search bar, so you have to scroll down the page to view all the images. But it’s totally worth it because they have some of the best photos around.
Life of Pix
This site is a new discovery for me but I have a feeling it’s going to become a staple for me and my business. I LOVE, love the layout and style of their site. It’s very easy to use with great search-ability features.
Jay Mantri
I love the detail and tight crops of his images. The photo archive on this site makes it super simple to view a lot of images at once and make quick selections.
Pixabay
Fantastic site if you’re looking for something specific, as they have great search-ability features. I was looking for specific images for a client project and was able to find dozens of great images on Pixabay.
Pexels
Similar to Pixabay, Pexels has great search-ability. I noticed a few repeats from Pixabay and Unsplash on this site as they will sometimes pull from other free stock sites. So Pexels may be a great place to start when you begin an image search.
